Overview

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Legal bases are, depending on the case, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the performance of (pre-)contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interests in a secure, functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Hosting & server logs

This website is hosted on a server provided by STRATO AG (Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany). When you visit the site, the server automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits, in particular the IP address, date and time of access, browser type and version, operating system and referrer URL. This is necessary to display the website securely and stably; the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The servers are located in Germany, so no transfer to a third country takes place.

Web fonts

The fonts used on this site (Space Grotesk, Inter, JetBrains Mono) are self-hosted and served directly from our own server. No font data is requested from Google or any other third party, so no personal data (such as your IP address) is transferred for typography.

Contacting us

The contact form on this site opens your own email program with a pre-filled message; no data is transmitted to us until you send that email yourself. If you contact us by the form or by email, the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, industry, message) is processed to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We retain this data until your enquiry is settled and any statutory retention periods have expired.

Local storage, cookies & tracking

To remember your chosen language and your cookie choice, this site stores two values (keys "rg-lang" and "rg-consent") in your browser's local storage. These are strictly necessary for the requested functions (§ 25(2) TTDSG) and are not used for tracking. Beyond the consent-based analytics described below, this website uses no advertising cookies and no profiling. The stored values remain on your device until you delete them.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). It uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how the site is used. Under Google Consent Mode the Google Analytics script is loaded only after you accept via the cookie banner; until then no analytics request is sent, no cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG), which you can withdraw at any time with future effect via the cookie settings below or by clearing the "rg-consent" value in your browser. Once loaded, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR); IP addresses are processed in truncated form. Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
